The Copyright Institute of Uganda (CIU) is a leading educational institution dedicated to advancing knowledge, understanding, and professional practice in copyright law and related rights.

Established to promote copyright awareness and build capacity among creators, legal practitioners, policymakers, academics, students, and industry professionals, the Institute serves as a recognized center for learning, research, and professional development in the field of copyright and the creative industries.

The Institute delivers internationally affiliated and locally developed educational programs that provide participants with both practical and theoretical knowledge of copyright law, intellectual property rights, rights management, digital content protection, and emerging issues within the creative economy.
